The goal of this project was to make a travel guide for the Portuguese island chain, the Azores, that emphasized "slow travel," an eco-friendly and low impact way to experience travel destinations. This was accomplished by departing from usual travel guides that funnel tourists into a handful of destinations, and instead gave the user enough information and resources to be their own guide. Aspects such as note pages and simple maps with scant labels, encourage the user to make the guide their own for a truly unique travel experience.
